Each has a tissue page with the title and a quote from the book. The condition of the book is Good to Good + based on its age, size and composition. Typical foxing, but images are unaffected, unless noted. All significant blemishes are noted.

First Series
CLEMENCY NEWCOME AND BEN BRITAIN - Dampstain along inner edge. Tissue has a wrinkle and a small tears at bottom, inner edge.

LITTLE NELL AND HER GRANDFATHER - Dampstain along inner edge. Tissue is loose from top for about 12" and is missing small piece at bottom, inner edge.

TONY WELLER - Light dampstain at top and bottom inner edge. Tissue: small piece missing from outer edge.

OLIVER TWIST - Damp stain along inner edge. Tissue is almost lose.

BARNABY RUDGE -Dampstain at top and bottom inner edge. Tissue has wrinkles and a couple small tears at outer edge.

JOE GARGERY AND PIP - Dampstain along inner edge. Tissue has wrinkles, creases and is torn at top and bottom edges.

Second Series
CALEB PLUMMER AND HIS BLIND DAUGHTER - Damp stain at top. Tissue is torn to spine.

DOLLY VARDEN AND HUGH OF THE MAYPOLE INN - Damp stains at outer edge. Tissue has creases and tears at edges.

OLIVER TWIST CLAIMED BY BILL SYKES AND NANCY - Damp stain at bottom. Tissue wrinkled and creased with small loss along bottom at spine.

JOHN WILLET AND RUDGE THE MURDERER - Damp stain at bottom. Tissue creased at bottom and separated at spine for 3"

MRS. GARGERTY ON THE RAMPAGE - Damp stains along outer edge. Tissue creased and edge-worn.

DICK SWIVELLER AND QUILP - Damp stain at bottom and slightly along outer edge. Tissue repair: about 1/3 of page is new. Text unaffected.

SAM WELLER - Light damp stains along bottom and outer edge. Tissue wrinkled.

The contents have been switched with the covers during a fairly well done rebinding. The tears in the tissue and wrinkled pages were not repaired.
